re: July 25: German TV – Programme: Beat Club – Setlist: (…) DANNY E MINOR
for ages i’ve been wonderin’ what the heck this title is all about! the people of the archives of radio bremen (the tv station that produced the ‘beat-club’ programme) seem to have come up with some fantasy titles for songs unknown to them again and again. there’s a quite revealing book about the ‘beat-club’ years and every now and then you stumble across such errors. to this day i wasn’t able to find out which actual song is hidden behind ‘danny e minor’, as this is the only song of the mac’s set that hasn’t surfaced as video . . . or audio for that matter. thus i’m afraid that we won’t be able to solve this mystery as long as the track stays hidden in the vaults. or is anybody out there in the know about it? i’m craving for this info . . . !!!
